Message to RCCPALS and RREALS Dear CPs and “responsables du dossier anglais, langue seconde” Greetings from SPEAQ. We would greatly appreciate if you could forward this message to the teachers in your board. First I would like to remind everyone of the SPEAQ convention in Montreal on November 10-12, 2001. You can register on line at www.speaq.qc.ca The preliminary program is on line and the official program will be on line very soon.
The MELS has set up committees to help support the implementation of Intensive English for all. SPEAQ is present on two of the committees.
We are looking for statistics or research that will support the implementation of this measure. If in your board you have interesting facts or people willing to offer testimonies please let me know at m.schinck@hotmail.com It will help us and the team at the MELS to convince that this is a good step forward in the teaching of ESL.
Thank you for your collaboration.
